Legio XIII - Update

This should be one of the last models to complete Legio XIII for me! I chose to go with a GW Model this time after seeing Tyger's MKIIb kit and the fitment on it. This pattern also existed during the crusades.

An Update without a Legion

It has been a little hectic around the house with an 8 week old puppy, so I have not been able to get much done, but here is a little progress! I have not decided what this guy is going to be as of yet.... I have a 4th legion to start after Space Wolves, some of you might be able to figure out what it is, but this guy might just become a consul for that army.

No update this week

Too busy with other stuff. I have an Imperial Fists Contemptor in primer which I might start this week. I don't need it for the upcoming game though so maybe not.

I should be working on my Knight Lancer but to be honest I am a little scared of it now. I think it's cursed and doesn't want to be painted.

This should be almost the last assembly update for Legio XIII, there are 2 more models that I am waiting for and then I will count them as done for the foreseeable future...

Hi Guys,

I have a weird update this week. I did some more assembly which I am including pics of below. 

However what I spent the majority of my time on is painting my Fire Raptor. 

That's where the weirdness starts. I am not attaching pictures of it because frankly it looks like dogshit right now. I tried some "advanced weathering techniques" from an aircraft modeling website and let's just say they did not translate well.

Playing cards

Hey just wanted to let you guys know I won't be playing warhammer any more. I will be playing in a poker game every Thursday night. The buy in for it is $250 a game which after doing the math will save me money on buying GW. I took all my models to goodwill so if you want them they will be there.
