The Imperial Truth is a small group of Warhammer 40,000 players based in Wisconsin USA. We will post battle reports from the games that we play, discuss Warhammer, and post our paint/modelling work.
We didn't finish. We left the game up at the end of turn 5. We will finish it here by Wednesday. The contemptor is a monster in the zone. He's killed a carnofex venomthrope and had the tyrant on his last wound. On the other half of the board done lightning vets made a pack of Raveners run. But are not doing so well against a warrior brood. And the genestealers have been shredding through space marines like butter.
So nids won. The tyrant made a reaction fire test to fire overwatch at full BS and wiped out Shadow Captain Solaq and his remaining vanguard vet. The Warriors made quick work of the rest of the space marines that were left.
Following the conclusion of that game kevin and i played a Ravens vs Chaos game in the zone mort. The ravens won by the skin of their teeth and luck of the game ending when it did. The contemptor held his ground again and pummeled cultists and a helbrute. The devastators rocked the Demon prince warlord in turn one down to 1 wound. He followed that up by transforming into a bloodthirster and a helbrute plasma cannoned the devastators out of existence. Til then it was just biding time til the game ended on turn 5. We played the last two rounds just to see how it would of ended. If it would of gone on as long as possible then the bloodthirster would of wiped out everything on the board and chaos would of won. All in all zone mort is very fun. It gives you a greater appreciation for different types of weapons.
